AV Tuning & Development has just recently finished another stout LSA set-up on a 2012 CTS-V. This CTS-V came to us in stock form and received installation of AIRAID Intake, METCO MOTORSPORTS 2.5 upper pulley / 9.1 lower pulley, Kooks Headers and Exhaust longtube headers, VMAX Motorsports, Inc. ported throttle body, Brian Tooley Racing Stage 3 camshaft, Injector Dynamics 1050x injectors, and Stainless Works catback. Our in-house calibration via HP Tuners resulted in an impressive 650whp/611tq at 14psi on 93 octane. We look forward to converting it to flex fuel in the near future for more power.

AV Tuning & Development recently completed this 2011 Subaru STi followed by an in-house Pro-Tune on our Mainline AWD Dyno. After we identified multiple issues during our Pre-Dyno Diagnostics Service, we were able to consult with our client to discuss what changes needed to happen. We performed the installation of the Cobb 3 port boost control solenoid, Cobb Fuel Pressure Regulator, Cobb AP V3 System, and a set of Injector Dynamics 1050x injectors. With another in-house calibration on our Mainline AWD Dyno we were able to easily make 344whp/317tq at 14psi! Other upgrades on this vehicle include: PERRIN Performance FMIC System, Cobb SF Intake system,

This 1969 C-10 truck came in for our Pre-dyno …

This 1969 C-10 truck came in for our Pre-dyno diagnostics service to troubleshoot multiple transmission related issues. We were able to quickly identify the set-ups issue despite our client spending months of electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and dealing with multiple companies trying to figure out why it was driving so poorly. What was thought related to a mechanical/electrical components turned out to all be the cause from an unsatisfactory “budget tune.” After starting from scratch with a custom HP Tuners calibration performed in house on our Dynojet Research Inc. 224xLC we were able to rectify all drive-ability issues from this application while also picking up some great power/torque gains on 87 octane (Original Baselines RunFile0 Green – AVTD Custom Calibration RunFile3 Red). Final results on this set-up are 310whp/ 340tq. Just another example of “You get what you pay for!”

AV Tuning & Development is wrapping up this flex-fueled R35 GTR on our Mainline AWD Dyno The in-house flex-fuel calibration was performed via COBB Tuning Accessport. Results on pump gas were 813whp/667ft-lbs @ 22psi. With E77 we easily managed to hit 952whp/796ft-lbs @24psi. We’re making a few changes then throwing it back on the rollers to crack the 1000whp marker!

Results are in for this 2011 STi. This STi made 328whp/ 325tq on pump gas, and 360whp/ 358tq on E72. Not only did this car pick up great peak power, it also picked up over 50+whp mid range from the flex fuel calibration. Modifications on this STi include: COBB Tuning cai,
