Click on the picture below to go to see all the pictures from our July 2010 Dyno Day:

From simple stock set-ups making 160whp all the way to sleeper Turbo GMC trucks making 620whp… the dyno day was a huge success & a lot fun for everybody! The weather was beautiful despite it being 102 degrees and we had roughly 60-75 cars show up and had 20 cars hit the dyno. Special thanks go out to Jason F. who took care of the food & beverages, our staff who helped out (John, Creighton, Will, & Luke), and everybody that came out to support us.
We are currently working on the HD video’s and hope to have them on the site very soon. Please keep checking back for updates!

JS’s ’97 GST has very basic upgrades. A front mount intercooler, manual boost controller, and upgraded 16g turbo. Tuned via ECM Link (DSM Link) we manged to go from 191whp/170tq at 6psi to 240whp/237tq with tuning and 11psi. The wastegate on this set-up is very weak as you can see from the fluctuations on the dyno chart. With the addition of a stronger internal wastegate and additional tuning this set-up should be able to make around 280-300whp safely.

We get our first Nitrous equipped SRT-8 in the shop thanks to Jaime at Charleston Speed. After some tuning, this set-up managed to make 411whp/405whp from the previous 396whp/388ft-lbs. With nitrous and tuning this set-up left with 506whp/522ft-lbs. Big power from a very simple set-up.

We thought we would show results of the Hondata Reflash and AEM CAI on a completely stock K20a2 RSX. Peak gains of 34whp/30ft-lbs. Not too shabby for very simple bolt-ons. Keep in mind, with KRPO tuning we typically pick up an additional 10whp over the reflash units.

Very impressive results for low boost out of this flat black beauty! The main components of this set-up consist of a built LS/Vtec (81.5 Aries 9:1 pistons, Eagle Rods, stock sleeves), Port & Polished P72 Cylinder head (Crower valve-springs, retainers, guides, Ferrea Valves, GSR Cams), AEBS Intake Manifold, Apex’i GTR Intercooler, Turbonetics TE60-1 Turbo, custom kit, RC 750cc injectors, Walbro 250hp Fuel pump, and tuning via AEM EMS. All of these components help to yield an impressive 350whp/241tq with only 10.5lbs of boost. There’s a lot more room to grow with this set-up!
