EM’s Subaru Impreza finished

Stage 1 of the quest for 400whp has been completed.  To accomplish this goal we removed the stock EJ251, mildly reworked the cylinder heads, and also replaced the stock EJ251 bottom end with the beefed up EJ257 bottom with a set of CP Pistons.

NB’s 5th Gen Prelude – 446whp/332tq 22psi

Another 5th gen Prelude hits the streets at over 400whp.  This set-up utilizes an AV Tuning & Development custom turbo kit, AV Tuning & Development Stage 3 block, Hondata S300 with built in boost control, custom spec Precision Billet Turbocharger, AV Tuning & Development Stage 4 Traction Bar, and countless other components.

The definition of complete sleeper.  ZZ Performance Stage 3 turbo kit, Bullseye s256 Extended tip turbo, 60# injectors HP Tuners, and dyno tuning via HP Tuners nets 277whp/237tq @ 10psi.

JS’s Turbo RSX – 278whp/228tq @10psi

Very good numbers from a base RSX (k20a3).  This set-up includes a traditional log style t3/t04b turbo kit, 450cc injectors, and full 2.5″ exhaust.  With the addition of the Hondata Boost Controller and KPRO tuning we managed to make 233whp/201tq @ 6.5psi and 278whp/228tq @ 10psi.  Upon arrival the set-up was making 240whp @ 10psi and we managed to pick up nearly 40whp peak.

OD’s Turbo B18c1 tries out ITR Cams

With the addition of ITR cams we were able to pick up a good bit of power at lower boost pressures on this set-up.  This set-up includes a custom ram-horn manifold, AV Engineering Intercooler piping kit, AV Engineering Stage 3 block/head, PTE 1000cc injectors, Hondata s300 with boost control, and Garrett T3/T04b turbo.  Unfortunately, the turbo is out of its efficiency range above 21-22psi.
