AV Tuning & Development, LLC was founded  by owner, Anthony Verma, in 2004.  Anthony Verma’s passion for cars stemmed in his mid-high school days when he first was introduced to car stereo’s back in 1996. Roughly 2 years later he was introduced into the quickly growing ‘import scene’ in which his hobby and passion for speed rapidly branched out in many directions.

While attending Clemson University for Mechanical Engineering, Anthony studied such core courses such as Engineering Mechanics (structural mechanics-statics/dynamics/Strengths of Materials), Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and also participated with the Formula SAE team where he helped out with the tuning of the Motec EMS system. By learning the dynamics of internal combustion engines through Clemson University, his interest, love, and respect for the world of high performance engines continued to grow rapidly.

Anthony soon applied his newly gained education to design, develop, build, and transform his own Honda into a 500whp power plant back in the early 2000’s (when turbo-charged Honda’s were very uncommon to come across).  After college, Anthony Verma decided to go against the grain of getting a traditional boring “engineering job” and combine his high level of education with his love of high performance and open AV Tuning & Development.

AV Tuning & Development, LLC has over 12 years of experience in the performance industry and continues to strive to provide a higher caliber of services that is lacking in our industry.
